Adria, Rybar 'n Grill, Sydney

Well, to start with, we decided to grab a bite to eat as it was already 0900pm that evening there. The belly was already rumbling as we bumped into an Italian-style reataurant kind 'a thing - the so called "Adria", which is located in Darling Harbour offers a breathtaking view to the sky-scrapers behind and the hustling and bustling (only on the weekend) on the Harbour itself... sounds too easy, well, indeed, after having checked out the menu, we agreed on trying our expectations to be fullfilled. Firstly, it was raining cats 'n dogs, consequently we had to find a table in the shelter, which was not easy at all, 'cause we nearly went in the neighbourhood restaurant / it looked pretty similar. But, finally we found our table and after having settled down and installed ourselves we could already place our orders. Although the waiters were considered highly-strung, they were attentive and helpful on the whole. (offering spoons for Risotto and similar crap). To sum up, the service was quite satisfactory, so that one would do.

Quote / Remark from the editor:
Attention, as regular NAMAT consumer, you already know what this codation -satisfactory- means, don't you? For the others, it was ok, got it? It was what we could have expected from a restaurant in a considered world city. unquote

Sticking to the point (the dishes), I have to say, that we were totally spoilt, we really were! Do you know the satisfied and satiable feeling after having had a delicious and artistically well-presented meat as we had? Righty-oh, you feel like on-the-top-of-the-world. We were, until the bill was presented, well good food has its price, and as we're in Australia for business - well for you guys!- we don't really care much about finance yet (well, we need to increase our prices for recipe books, fare enough). But no dramas at all, let's start with the entré:
the reknown and a well presented Bruschetta, which prevented us from suffering from starvation... As main dish, a 300g beef sirloin-medium, served with potatoes and other vegetables, seafood risotto. Not much to complain about so far, I have to admit. As we were inspired and thrilled to bits by the sight of a chocolat fondant (the table next to us), while eating our dish, we had to have a dessert, and guess what, too easy blokes. Damn right, a chocolat fondant and not to forget a crème brûlée, which was sensitively burnt, ont the top, with a caramel layer. Imagine, everybody had to be quiet, in order to enable us to hear the awesome sound of curious spoon knocking on the top to be soon to break through in order to discover the adventure that was covered by the caramel thing. We agreed on that, believe us, this is better than every foreplay or every kind 'a beer, it damn is. It gives you a bloody sense of self-accomplishment to discover what either is inside the pot of the crème or the fondant, although you already know it, don't you? It gives you a feeling of hunting, and after having catched it, being able to call it your own.
Summing up, not everything that glitters is gold, I have to add, the coffee was not as good as the rest, and listen to that; it was served before having had the dessert. Would be like when your girl isn't undressed and ready yet that you get horny and want to clock on! But the coffee seems a small price to pay as we are in a country, where culture was surely not invented nor any special cuisine. For all reasons given, we set on an overall mark of 7.25.
